On 22 of September we met Catherine Hammon, who gave a talk open to debate entitled “disorganize our knowledge making it creative”. During the debate she raised a number of points, one of the most important being the confrontation between adolescence and pregnancy. The core points are outlined below:
• Disorientation during pregnancy and adolescence
• The fear of confronting and being confronted by other people
• Positive aggressivity leads to desire for knowledge in both infancy and adolescence
• The importance of stimulating natural curiosity
Moreover Catherin Hammon pointed out that knowledge is the m of the following:
• Knowing our self
• Knowing others
• Creating a ink between our knowledge and hose of others
• Self awareness creates the ability to be aware of others (it’s impossible to “touch” the other without being touched)
The final two points made were related o emotion and motivation:
• Every field of knowledge is influenced from an emotive point of view
• Motivation plays an important role in stimulating curiosity
All the above mentioned points gave an interesting prospective on the approach to the interdisciplinary learning. It’s a question of knowledge, curiosity and motivation (Cecilia Sereni Lucarelli).
